Cons of DLP Projector & LCD Projector:
DLP projectors have several drawbacks with regard to the rainbow effect and light leakage. The rainbow effect may hamper the health condition of some viewers. Grey band outside of the image can cause abandoned light reflecting off the edges of the mirrors on DLP chip. However, this light leakage can be avoided by mounting additional black borders around the projector screen.
LCD projectors also have some limitations. One of the limitations is the contrast ratio since LCD contrast cannot yield completely black images in some models. Also, some parts of LCD projectors are large and thus turn into less portable than DLP projectors. An LCD projector has LCD panel which allows light to pass through the liquid. There are three LCD panels in LCD projectors which are not reflective like DLP projectors.
On the other hand, DLP technology means Digital Light Processing that uses tiny mirrors in order to reflect light towards or away from the screen. It is reflective. In DLP projectors, light is reproduced using the micro mirror device. There can be a single-chip DLP projector or multiple chip projector. In the case of first projector, light that is generated from the lamp moves through a wheel and crosses the original lens. Then the light reproduces in a mirror which is appeared in the front. In this mirror, the light spreads onto the main DMD.

4. Image quality:
DLP projectors offer great image quality but it is less great compared to the LCD projectors.
